1882 Councilors Culpepper, Santana, Louijeune, Breadon, Coletta Zapata, Durkan, FitzGerald, Flynn, Mejia, Murphy, Pepén, Weber and Worrell offered the following: Emergency resolution calling for immediate relief for businesses devastated by the six alarm fire at the historic Edison Building in Nubian Square. Recess. On motion of Councilors Culpepper and Santana, Rule 12 was invoked to include Councilor Louijeune as an original co sponsor. On motion of Councilors Culpepper, Santana, and Louijeune, the rules were suspended; the resolution was adopted: yeas 13 (Breadon, Coletta Zapata, Culpepper, Durkan, FitzGerald, Flynn, Louijeune, Mejia, Murphy, Pepén, Santana, Weber, Worrell).
