1549 Councilors Flynn, FitzGerald and Murphy offered the following: Resolution in support of waiving the residency requirement to allow for transfers from other municipalities to the Boston Police Department. On motion of Councilor Flynn, the rules were suspended; the resolution was not adopted: yeas 3 (FitzGerald, Flynn, Murphy), nays 9 (Breadon, Culpepper, Durkan, Louijeune, Mejia, Pepén, Santana, Weber, Worrell), absent 1 (Coletta Zapata).
