On the message and order, referred on July 9, 2025, authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Six Hundred Forty Four Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Eight Dollars ($644,458.00) in the form of a grant, for the US Inflation Reduction Act, awarded by the USDA Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry to be administered by the Office of Workforce Development. The grant will fund to grow an accessible, inclusive, and resilient urban forest, the committee submitted a report recommending that the order ought to pass. The report was accepted, the order was passed: yeas 10 (Breadon, Durkan, FitzGerald, Flynn, Louijeune, Murphy, Pepén, Santana, Weber, Worrell), not present 1 (Mejia), absent 1 (Coletta Zapata).
