Councilors Fernandes Anderson, Mejia, Breadon, Coletta Zapata, FitzGerald, Flynn, Louijeune, Murphy, Pepén, Santana, Weber and Worrell offered the following: Resolution to recognize and to celebrate the independence of Cabo Verde and to declare July as Cabo Verdean Heritage Month. On motion of Councilors Fernandes Anderson and Mejia, the rules were suspended; the resolution was adopted; yeas 12, not present 1 (Durkan).
