Councilors Fernandes Anderson, Mejia and Louijeune offered the following: Resolution designating the Downtown RFI Area as a Boston Cultural District led by Indigenous and Black communities as a step towards reparations. On motion of Councilor Fernandes Anderson, the rules were suspended; the resolution was adopted; yeas 7, nays 3 (FitzGerald, Flynn, Murphy), present 1 (Durkan), not present 2 (Breadon, Coletta Zapata).
