Councilors Weber, Santana, Durkan, Coletta, FitzGerald, Flynn, Louijeune, Mejia, Murphy, Pepén and Worrell offered the following: Resolution in support of residents, families and staff at the Edgar P. Benjamin Healthcare Center being impacted by the July 1st, 2024 planned closure. On the motion of Councilors Weber and Santana, Rule 12 was invoked to include Councilor Durkan as an original co sponsor. On the motion of Councilors Weber, Santana, and Durkan, the rules were suspended; the resolution was adopted; yeas 11, not present 2 (Breadon, Fernandes Anderson).
