On the message and order, referred on November 13, 2023, Docket #1704, authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) in the form of a grant, for the FY23 COPS Accreditation Project, awarded by the United States Department of Justice to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund accreditation process though the purchase of PowerDMS to document objective evidence of CALEA and MPAC requirements, the committee submitted a report recommending the order ought to pass. The report was accepted; the order was passed; yeas 12, absent 1 (Fernandes Anderson).
