On the message and ordinance, referred on August 30, 2023, Docket #1373, to support public safety as the City doubles down on our public health led approach to the crises of mental health, substance use, and unsheltered homelessness concentrated in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard, the committee submitted a report recommending the ordinance ought to pass in a new draft.
