Councilors Edwards, Flynn, Breadon, Essaibi-George, Baker, Bok, O’Malley, Wu, Flaherty, Campbell, Arroyo, Mejia and Janey offered the following: Resolution in support of the striking nurses at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. On motion of Councilors Edwards and Flynn, Rule 12 was invoked to include Councilor Breadon as a co-sponsor. On motion of Councilors Edwards, Flynn and Breadon, the rules were suspended; the resolution was adopted; yeas 13.
