Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) in the form of a grant, for the Pre-Disaster Mitigation, awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, passed through the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, to be administered by the Fire Department. The grant will fund the first phase of the development of a cost-effective, resilient and environmentally viable protection strategy and mitigation plan for Moon Island and its causeway.
