On the message and order, referred on June 24, 2020 Docket #0817, authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Twenty-Three Million Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-Nine Dollars ($23,348,669.00) in the form of a grant for the FY20 Emergency Solutions Grant-COVID-19 Supplemental, awarded by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development to be administered by the Department of Neighborhood Development. The grant will fund special activities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance. This award is the second allocation to the program under the CARES Act, the committee submitted a report recommending the order ought to pass. The report was accepted; the order was passed; yeas 13
