Councilor Campbell called Docket #0752, message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Million Two Hundred Ninety-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Eight Dollars ($1,297,758.00) in the form of a grant, for the FY20 Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding, awarded by the United States Department of Justice to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund equipment, supplies and training to safely carry out community policing efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, from the Committee of Public Safety and Criminal Justice. No objection being heard, the matter was before the body. On motion of Campbell, the order was passed; yeas 12; nays 0(Not Present Edwards)
