Councilor McCarthy called Docket #1076, message and order approving the appropriation of Five Million Four Hundred Twenty Nine Thousand Three Hundred and Four Dollars ($5,429,304.00) for the purpose of paying for the costs associated with window replacement project at the John Marshall Elementary School (UP Academy). This includes the payment of all costs incidental or related thereto, and for which the City of Boston may be eligible for a grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), said amount to be expended under the direction of the Public Facilities Department on behalf of the Boston Public Schools, from the Committee on Ways and Means. Hearing no objection, the matter was before the body. On motion of Councilor McCarthy, the order was read a second time and again passed; yeas 11, nays 0 (absent Campbell and Essaibi-George).
