Councilor Ciommo called Docket #0641, message and order for a loan of Twenty Million Seven Hundred Twenty Five Thousand Dollars( $20,725,000.00) for the original construction of public ways or the extension or widening thereof, including land damages and the cost of pavement and sidewalks laid at the time of said construction, or for the construction of stone, block, brick, cement concrete, bituminous concrete, bituminous macadam or other permanent pavement of similar lasting character, or for the original construction, surfacing or resurfacing of municipally owned and operated off-street parking areas; and/or for the construction of sidewalks of brick, bituminous concrete, stone or concrete, installing macadam pavement or other road material, for resurfacing municipally owned and operated off-street parking areas with pavement or other road material; and/or for the cost of engineering or architectural services for plans and specifications, for the purposes of the Boston Redevelopment Authority and City departments including the Public Works and Transportation Department, from the Assignment sheet. Hearing no objection, the matter was before the body. On motion of Councilor Ciommo, the order was read a second time and again passed; yeas 13.
