On the message and order, referred on April 8, 2015 Docket #0678, for a loan of One Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,600,000.00) for the purpose of paying costs of a feasibility study and schematic design work associated with the renovation of and addition to the Carter Development Center, located at 396 Northampton Street, Boston, MA (the “Project”), including the payment of all costs incidental or related thereto, and for which the City of Boston may be eligible for a grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), said amount to be expended under the direction of the Public Facilities Department on behalf of Boston Public Schools; and if the City is not eligible for a grant from the MSBA for this project, said amount may be expended for such feasibility study, schematic design, including the renovation of and addition to the Carter Development Center and payment of all costs incidental or related thereto, the Committee submitted a report recommending the order ought to be read once and passed. The report was accepted; the order was read once and passed; yeas 13. Assigned for further action.
