Councilor Ciommo called Docket #0551, message and order approving an appropriation of One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,700,000.00) for the purpose of paying cost of a feasibility study and schematic design work associated with the renovation or new construction of a facility for the Boston Arts Academy. Upon completion of the feasibility study, the City of Boston may be eligible for a grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, said amount to be expended under the direction of the Public Facilities Department on behalf of Boston Public Schools, from the Assignment Sheet. No objection being heard the matter was before the body. On motion of Councilor Ciommo, the order was read a second time and passed: yeas 12, nays 0. Absent or not voting 1 (Wu)
