Councilor Ciommo called Docket #0474, message and order approving an appropriation of Eighteen Million Five Hundred Sixty Nine Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Six Dollars ($18,569,296.00) for acquiring land, or interest in land, for any purpose for which the City is or may hereafter be authorized to acquire land or interest therein; and for the construction of buildings, or for additions to such buildings where such additions increase the floor space of said buildings, including the cost of original equipment and furnishings of said buildings or additions; and/or for remodeling, reconstructing, or making extraordinary repairs to public buildings owned by the City, including original equipment and landscaping, paving and other site improvements incidental or directly related to such remodeling, reconstruction or repair; and/or for the acquisition of departmental equipment; and/or for the development, design, purchase and installation of computer hardware and other data processing equipment for the purpose of the School Department, from the assignment sheet. No objection being heard, the matter was before the body. On motion of Councilor Ciommo, the order was read a second time and again passed; yeas 12, nays 1(Ross).
