Councilor Ciommo called Docket #0543, message and order for a loan of Six Million Nine Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($6,970,000.00), for constructing or reconstructing bridges of stone or concrete or of iron superstructure, for the original construction of public ways or the extension or widening thereof, including land damages and the cost of pavement and sidewalks laid at the time of said construction, or for the construction of stone, block, brick, cement concrete, bituminous, concrete, bituminous macadam or other permanent pavement of similar lasting character, and/or for macadam pavements or other road material, or for the resurfacing with such pavement or other road material of municipally owned or operated off-street parking areas; and/ or for the cost of departmental equipment; and/or for the cost of engineering or architectural services for plans and specifications for the purposes of city departments including the Public Health Commission, Public Works and Transportation Department, from the Assignment List. Hearing no objection, the matter was before the body. On motion of Councilor Ciommo, the order was read a second time and again passed; yeas 13.
