Councilor Ciommo called Docket #0545, message and order for a loan of Five Million Three Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($5,325,000.00), for dredging tidal and non-tidal rivers and streams, harbors and channels and tidewaters, for the construction of municipal outdoor recreational and athletic facilities, including the acquisition and development of land and the construction and reconstruction of facilities, and/or for the cost of engineering or architectural services for plans and specifications; for laying and relaying of water mains of 6-16 inches in diameter; lining and relining those mains with linings of at least 1/16 of an inch; for development of additional well fields, for wells; and for acquiring pumping station equipment, and/or for constructing and reconstructing and laying and relaying aqueducts and water mains 16 or more inches in diameter, and for lining those mains with linings of at least 1/16 of an inch; and/or for extending water mains, and/or for purchasing, replacing or rehabilitating water department equipment, for the purposes of city departments including the Neighborhood Development and Parks and Recreation Department, from the Committee on Ways and Means.
